This delicious, cool-climate, Adelaide Hills white has appetising pink grapefruit and gooseberry aromas. It is zesty, intense and refreshing on the palate, with lemon, lime and an exciting, tropical note of passionfruit on the finish. It has a certain gentleness and roundness of texture, which offsets the fresh vibrancy beautifully, and makes it a more complete, satisfying drink. The overall impression is along the lines of a top quality Sauvignon Blanc from Italy or Bordeaux. This wine is made by Adelaide Hills veteran, Marty Edwards, who donates some of the proceeds to research to help future sufferers of Parkinsons Disease, after having been diagnosed with the condition himself. The fruit comes from a vineyard in an especially chilly microclimate just east of Hahndorf, ideal for producing top quality Sauvignon Blanc.
