Process
Selected and destalked pomace, harvested fresh and soft, of Fragola grapes Cru Nonino Vineyard, Friuli, are fermented under vacuum and batch distilled in Nonino's typical slow and steady methods, with only the hearts of the distillate kept.
People
The Nonino family have been distilling since 1897, when Orazio Nonino first established his premise. Over 100 years later, the 5th generation of Nonino's remain at the centre of every element of their spirits. A true distilling dynasty.
Place
The Nonino distillery has been active in Friuli, Italy for over a century. Prior to establishing roots in one location the family operated a moveable still, which was transported from vineyard to vineyard to make grappa on site.
