"A subtle and complex 100% Pinot Noir, ethereally delicate pink, with an enthralling aroma of homemade strawberry ice cream and a garden of heritage roses. With a fabulously delicate, creamy mousse texture and sublime flavours of Spartan apple, just-picked raspberries and toasted oats, it has an understated richness reminiscent of lobster bisque, found only in the most refined and expensive Champagnes. Made from biodynamically-farmed grapes, and bottled as 'Brut Nature' - with zero dosage."
"Burgundy’s 2021 vintage was brilliant quality but with tiny yields, so Les Quatre Climats is an star studded super group of Puligny-Montrachet Premier Crus: Folatières, Clavoillon, Pucelles and Champ Gain. One vintage only, possibly never to be repeated, this sophisticated white Burgundy is a smash hit."
"This gorgeous nectar is irresistibly delicious to drink now. It could - in theory - age for another 10+ years, but I foresee that all bottles in the wine rack will disappear in short order. It has fabulously deep, honeyed, aromas, and is rich and unctuous on the palate, with generous flavours of lychee, lime marmalade, canteloupe and honey."
"This extraordinarily wonderful wine is a special project by the Pago de Carraovejas winemaker to revive some tiny, old vineyards, which are the very highest in the region - at 1,076 metres elevation. The wine has fabulous concentration and freshness, and an amazing, super-silky texture, all of which arise from the intensely sunny days yet decidedly chilly nights through the growing season. Its beautiful balance means that it could be cellared, and its fabulous silkiness means you can tuck in straight away."
"This is an incredibly impressive Barolo from one of the region’s finest producers – no wonder that it was awarded 96/100 by Decanter and 98/100 by James Suckling. It has masses of concentration, with complex aromas and flavours of fresh and dried cherry, cranberry, toasted oak, iron, liquorice, star anise, vanilla, rosehips, liquorice and a rich, dark-chocolate finish. Its energy and vivacity make it tempting to drink now, and it has the structure to age gracefully."
"With magnificent intensity, complexity and poise, this is a selection of the best individual barrels of Bordeaux varieties grown in Thelema's vineyards. The aromas draw you in, evincing succulent black cherries and blackberries alongside a subtle yet complex herbal / spicy edge. Take a sip, and you know at once that this is Really Good Stuff. Beautifully intense fruit, restrained tannins and perfectly-balanced acidity. It could go on for years, but if you open a bottle tonight, it will still impress, although do decant to get the best out of it."
