Champagne Brut Tradition
Gobillard
Key Flavours
Serve
Accompanies lighter dishes, such as seafood and vegetables, and works well as a pre-dinner aperitif or for a suitably celebratory toast.
Process
Gentle pressing and vinification, before blending with reserve wines from earlier vintages. The assembled wine is then re-fermented in the bottle, and aged with the yeast to give it characteristic brioche aromas.
People
If you’re after the true heart of Champagne, then look no further. The Gobillard family home is mere metres from the grave of Dom Pérignon.
Place
Decades of hard work led to the Gobillards' securing 26 hectares of vines; largely Premier Cru once owned by the Benedictine Hautvillers Abbey. A few carefully-selected growers tend to a further 125 hectares nestled in the most prestigious crus.
Winemaking
Brut Tradition champagne: fruity, in taste and harmonious aromas. Blend: 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier. Consistency via reserve wines to complete the assemblage process. Aged ≥2 years in the cellars for depth of flavour

TM Gobilard & Finns Champayne
This Champayne is my absolute favourite. Having tried it at a wine tasting event in Glasgow. It was my absolute favourite at the event. It was so outstanding my friend and I purchased some bottles on the day. I shared the bottle I bought with my neighbours who love fine wines. It’s now a firm favourite of theirs also. We both buy it for those special occasions and for treating ourselves to a lovey drink. It’s light, fresh bubbly and tastes wonderful. No lingering strong tones just sheer bliss in a glass.
