This Grand Cru is a 'monopole' - under the exclusive ownership of Leitz. It is one of the most approachable wines of its type, with juicy fruit salad character and a fragrant, elderflower lift. It is soft, creamy and easy, with fresh, balancing acidity. Characteristic peach and clover honey notes on the finish. While very enjoyable young, this also has the potential to mature brilliantly over 10-15 years.

" Stunningly racy and filigree dry Rheingau with complex violet and licorice notes. Very striking interplay of delicate white and citrus fruit with a positive hint of bitterness that helps drive the long, compact mineral finish. Drink or hold. "
Press Review
" From a monopole, Leitz's Grosses Gewächs (abbreviated as GG on the front label) 2019 Rüdesheim Rosengarten GG offers an intensely aromatic, slightly flinty and still a bit reductive bouquet of a clear, bright and intense fruit aromas intertwined with notes of finely weathered rocks and stones. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, round, lush and elegant and reveals a remarkably creamy sur lie texture that gives roundness and a touch of sweetness that is rather unusual for a Leitz Riesling. The finish is crystalline and saline and very promising. Drink 2025-2040. "
