Process
To make this spirit fermented sugar cane juice is double distilled in a column still, it is then matured in large oak vats for a few months.

Indústrias Reunidas de Bebidas Tatuzinho was originally founded in 1950 in the city of Piracicaba, in central São Paulo. This popular brand of cachaça was launched 25 years later in 1975.
Place
Made in the state of Sao Paulo, Velho Barreiro is one of the big cachaça names in Brazil, which is saying something given the nation drinks over 80% of the 1.3 billion litres of cachaça produced.
