Made by the only growers cooperative in New Zealand., this bright Sauvignon Blanc opens with fresh bramble and herb with hints of lemon on the nose. Lifted passion fruit and ripe tropical on the palate with a long zesty lime finish. The vineyards are planted in the Wairau valley's alluvial silt loams, and the vines are trained to three cane Vertical Shoot Positioned (VSP) canopies. Fruit from individual vineyards is fermented separately, some parcels are removed from their fermentation lees at the end of fermentation to preserve the aromatic fruit character while other parcels are lees stirred weekly to develop mouthfeel and structure.
