Hand harvested to protect the integrty of the old vines, this prized crop of fruit was fermented in a small open fermenter where it was pumped over by hand twice daily. Gently pressed to tank after 7 days on skins, the Block K Shiraz was then racked into a blend of 50% new and seasoned French Oak Hogsheads where is rested for two years prior to careful barrel selection and blending prior to being bottled.
