An astonishing wine made from 100% ungrafted Tinta de Toro vines, aged between 45 and more than 100 years of age. Dense purple in colour, with fabulous aroma concentration of black fruit, brandy, spices and mineral nuances. On the palate it is well structured, powerful, very expressive, creamy, rich and aromatic with smooth tannins. This will drink marvellously immediately, and also age gracefully should you wish to cellar it.

Press Review
" The 2008 Victorino went through malolactic in new French oak followed by 18 months of aging in new barrels. Dense purple in color, it displays an already complex bouquet of Asian spices, sandalwood, leather, balsamic, and brooding black fruits. Dense and backward on the palate but well-balanced, it mandates a minimum of 5-7 years of cellaring. It will provide prime drinking from 2017 to 2028. Bodegas Teso La Monja’s wines are made from 100% Tinta de Toro. "
Press Review
" Still-concentrated garnet with an evolved rim and very vibrant and energetic. Pure, rich, but not heavy Tempranillo without the exaggeration and sweetness of some Toro wines. Very long. Like chocolate-covered pruneaux d'Agen but rich rather than sweet. Pretty impressive. Quite long. Drink 2016-2025. "
