This awesome wine could easily be a top Hermitage, icon of the Rhône valley. It has an inky-dark colour, and massively complex and concentrated aromas of succulent, brambly fruit intertwined with rare beef, fragrant wood and leather. Further facets of complexity unfold as it sits in the glass. On the palate it is succulent, velvety, rich and satisfying, with fine freshness and balance, and extraordinary length. Astonishingly good, this tastes like it would cellar well, however, the tannins are so fine that there is nothing to prevent immediate enjoyment.

Press Review
95/100 - Intense aromas of blackberries, grilled meat, some dried meat and hints of graphite that follow through to a full body with plenty of fruit and tannins that flow across the palate. Hints of vanilla. Creamy and velvety. Extremely well done in a slightly opulent but balanced rendition. Give it a year or two. Drink or hold.
