Villard Fine Wines was founded in 1989 by Thierry Villard, a French‑born pioneer of premium boutique winemaking in Chile. Today the estate is run by the next generation, including Jean‑Charles Villard and winemaker Charlie Villard, who continue to enhance the winery’s reputation through innovation and respect for its Casablanca Valley roots. The cool‑climate location, influenced by the Humboldt Current, has helped establish Villard as one of the leading producers in the region.
Villard’s vineyards benefit from coastal fog, cool temperatures and slow ripening conditions that deliver wines with freshness and aromatic clarity. The estate produces several varieties, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Syrah, using a combination of traditional techniques and energetic modern methods.
