A beautifully fresh and refined Chardonnay with exquisite balance from a single vineyard in the cool, high-altitude Adelaide Hills region, just outside the town of Macclesfield. The wine expresses a thrilling combination of blossom, white peach and lemon posset aromas and flavours, with extremely subtle French oak character adding complexity without dominating. Crisp and balanced, with long, refined flavours, this is already gorgeous, and also promises to develop beautifully over the next 2-3 years. Proprietor, Marty Edwards, was disgnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2012, and a portion of the proceeds from this wine are donated to research into the condition.

Winemaking
Picked in cool of the early morning, pressed immediately and left to settle in Stainless steel tank at 10 degrees. Lees stirring to enhance tropical characters over 3 days before juice warmed to 16 degrees for temperature controlled 7 day fermentation. Raked off gross lees and settled with bentonite before pre bottling filtration by cross flow.
