The wine is a single-site selection from a particular Pinot plot within Seresin's Raupo vineyard.

" Serious single vineyard rosé with a quiet intensity and attractive ripeness. Pinot fruit is hand-picked, naturally fermented and then aged for four months in neutral French barriques. Very pale pink blush; a distinctive popcorn note blows off in the glass with time, but the nose retains a mystery and distinctiveness – subtle aromas of dried flower petals, red berry fruit, vanilla. Winemaking
Pristine Pinot Noir grapes, all from a single plot in the Raupo vineyard, were hand harvested under cool morning conditions. The fruit was gently whole bunch pressed and the juice settled overnight naturally in tank, then racked to neutral oak barriques. Wild fermentation took place, and then the batch remained on full lees prior to racking and blending Partial malolactic fermentation has taken place, also wild. The wine was then sulphured and filtered, prior to bottling.
