Col Disôre represents the thrilling heights that Friuli's Collio region can achieve, with vibrancy, concentration, complexity and unparallelled mellowness. It is one of Italy's most fascinating white wines, with a bouquet of acacia blossom, pink grapefruit and a plethora of attractive, herbal nuances. The palate is perfectly poised between freshness and gratifying richness. The sustained finish reveals appealing almond undertones. Vines are planted on on elevated sites with the prized soil called 'Flysch' in Italian and 'Ponca' in the Friulian dialect. It is a traditional Collio blend of Pinot Bianco, Friulano, Sauvignon and Ribolla Gialla, aged first in oak and then in the bottle to round out the wine and integrate the flavours.

Press Review
" This white blend (Pinot Bianco, Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc and Ribolla Gialla) offers floral fragrances and a fuller, richer approach. The 2013 Collio Col Disôre is an oaked expression with fragrant tones of honeysuckle, butter and toasted almond. There is a touch of hard candy on the close with spice and preserved lemon. "
