George Roe helped build the golden era of Irish whiskey in the 19th century, his distillery was once Ireland's largest exporter of whiskey. Roe & Co is named to honour this whiskey-maker’s memory.
Place
Neighbours for hundreds of years George Roe & Co and Guinness were the two biggest names at the heart of Dublin’s historic brewing and distilling quarter. In 2019, Roe & Co restored and re-purposed the iconic Guinness Power House as its distillery.
Winemaking
Roe & Co is bottled at 45% abv without chill filtration and is a blend of single malt and grain whiskeys matured exclusively in bourbon casks (a high proportion of which are first-fill).
