Raj’s Pick Shiraz is the absolute cream of the crop, with a mere 600 bottles made of the début 2015 vintage. Named after Sam Kurtz and Bernadette Kaeding's son Raj, it is made from the very best, hand-selected, grapes that their vineyard produces, and only in vintages that produce fine enough fruit. Concentrated basket-pressings have added great richness, intense flavours and dense tannins to the wine, which is delicately balanced with beautiful French oak. Now at a decade of age, this has reached its drinking window, or you can cellar it further...assuming you have the willpower to leave it there. Matthew Jukes described it as "spectacular" in his 100 Best Australian Wines 2022/23.
