Pinkster has two key strengths; Full strength gin and no added sugar. It tastes like gin, with a hit of raspberry, not a sweet Pink Gin. Just add a raspberry and a sprig of well-spanked, fresh mint for a refreshingly different G&T.
Process
A custom made dry gin is distilled, which is then macerated with a further three botanicals, including fresh, plump raspberries grown near Cambridge. There's no added sugars. All natural colour.
People
Founder Stephen March created Pinkster in 2013. A keen maker of sloe liqueurs and other concoctions, he turned his attention to gin and started experimenting at home, mashing assorted fruits with different spirit strengths.
Place
Pinkster is made at G&J, one of the country’s oldest distillers, who were recruited to help with production. They produce the core spirit with five botanicals to the original recipe that was developed in the founder's kitchen over several years.
