Pere Ventura is a distinguished, family‑owned winery based in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the heartland of Cava in Catalonia, Spain. Founded in 1991 by Pere Ventura, the estate continues a winemaking lineage spanning four generations, rooted in the early history of traditional‑method sparkling wine in Spain. Pere Ventura himself is recognised as the driving force and visionary behind the business.

Viticulture at Pere Ventura combines tradition with modern technology, supported by sustainably managed estate vineyards totalling over 60 hectares, along with additional controlled plots across diverse climates and geographies. The winery is renowned for crafting premium Cavas distinguished by meticulous winemaking practices, including long ageing, precision in blending varieties such as Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, and a continuous improvement philosophy central to Ventura’s approach.

Pere Ventura places strong emphasis on environmental responsibility, implementing sustainable agriculture in its vineyards and advancing numerous eco‑initiatives across its operations. The winery has renewed its carbon‑footprint certification under the GHG Protocol, demonstrating emissions reductions in energy use, transportation, materials and production processes. Key sustainability measures include sourcing recycled materials for packaging, reducing bottle glass weight, digitising administrative processes, adopting electric vehicles, installing LED lighting, contracting renewable‑energy supply, and using underground galleries for naturally moderated bottle ageing.
