With immediate complexity of aromas, the 'Bordeaux blend' Ironclad offers a distinctive bouquet of black cherry and blackberry alongside cedar, pencil shavings, olive tapenade, wet slate, elderberry and bright violet. In the mouth, boisterous, juicy fruit and polished tannins lead to an impression of sumptuousness, permitting early enjoyment, however the structure and balance mean that this is a wine that will also reward cellaring. It finishes with attractive, complex, savoury notes.

Press Review
" Very high-toned dark-fruit aromas of blackcurrants, blueberries, flowers and stone. It’s full-bodied with a compact palate and fantastic finish. Cabernet franc, merlot, petit verdot, cabernet sauvignon, and malbec. Drinkable now, but better in three to five years. "
Press Review
" Bordeaux blend. 40% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot. Reddish crimson with a pale rim. Much more herbaceous nose than the 2020 – which is definitely no bad thing – gentler and more integrated. Already a delightfully refreshing drink, with quite a bit of tannin still on the dry finish but a bit subtler than the 2020. "
