This is a bigger, more velvety wine than the regular Mascota Malbec, and you can tell that it has been aged in French oak from its subtlety and beautiful integration of fruit and wood character. Beautifully soft, seamless texture, with fragrant, complex malted cereal notes on the finish. This is made from fruit grown in the exciting, high-altitude Uco Valley within the wider Mendoza region.

Winemaking
The harvest is carried out by hand using bunch selection before destemming and crushing at the winery. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks using wild yeasts for a minimum of 25 days at 25-27ºC. Natural malolactic fermentation also takes place followed by ageing in French oak barrels for 18 months. The wine is then filtered & bottled.
