On the palate it shows appealing up-front raspberry and cherry fruit, but that's not all there is to it - the flavours progress to reveal complex hints of cigarbox and freshly-ground espresso. This is the Knipser family's 'Estate' Pinot, composed from their vineyards around the village of Laumersheim.

Grapes were selecitvely hand-picked and underwent traditional fermentation on the skins, followed by maturation for 12 months maturation in pre-seasoned barriques.
