Process
Made using "superior bread-making wheat" (soft winter wheat) as their base, they mill, ferment & then distil it through large continuous stills, some of which under partial vacuum to reach 96.3% purity. Water is added before being filtered & bottled.
People
Created in the 1990's by Sidney E. Frank (an American businessman who became a billionaire through his spirits), who asked famed Maître de Chais François Thibault to create a vodka for him. It was sold to Bacardi in 2004.
Place
The wheat used in to make Grey Goose vodka is grown in Picardy, France. It is also distilled in the same region, North and East of Paris. The distillate is then sent to Cognac, France, where it is blended with local spring water and bottled.
