Innoble Cuvee 318 Corpinnat

" There is a new multi-vintage NV Innoble Brut Nature, a blend of 2015, 2016 and 2017, where the base wines are matured in large oak foudres, blended and then put in bottle to referment for 45 months. So, the wine has nuance and development from the oak, and that is amplified by the lees and glass in the bottle. The wine has low alcohol, 12%, and the mouthfeel is quite sharp and lively (the pH is 2.98), possibly from the 2017. It's a groundbreaking wine, multiple vintages, oak, nature . . . quite different from the classical Gramona style, perhaps a little more modern. Gramona has celebrated its 100 anniversary of the Gramona label, but they started earlier (in 1881) with other brands. Today, they have 65 hectares of organic and biodynamic vineyards certified by Demeter (from 2011, so not all wines are still certified, but they will be) . . . There is a new sparkling wine from Gramona, Innoble, a non-vintage blend. They are one of the leading quality producers of sparkling wine from Spain. "
