With an exceptionally concentrated aroma of super-ripe black cherries, cream and peppery spice, Les Hauts de Montmirail tastes the way it smells - intense, yet absolutely fresh and juicy, with complex freesia, clove, star anise and white chocolate notes. The tannins are present yet supple, and the texture is succulent and delicious. This could age for a decade or so, but it's gorgeous already. The wine comes from vineyard terraces high up on the Dentelles de Montmirail mountains.

Press Review
93/100 - Based on 50% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 20% Mourvèdre and aged in 50% new French oak, the 2024 Gigondas Les Hauts De Montmirail has a vivid purple hue as well as juicy darker black and blue fruits intermixed with violets, pepper, and damp earth/crushed stone-like minerality. It's juicy, medium-bodied, has beautiful balance and purity, and outstanding length. Drink this classic Gigondas over the coming 10-15 years. Drink 2026-2040.
