Process
Botanicals including manuka leaves, almonds, cardamom, coriander seed, liquorice, peppercorns and more are vapour infused in a 150L Still, before the spirit is blended with water sourced from the aquifer that feeds the Dancing Sands Spring.
People
Dancing Sands was founded by Ben & Sarah Bonoma in 2016. Ben, an American, and Sarah, a Brit, moved to NZ to start a new life together. After seeing a still for sale, they jumped at the chance to leave their corporate careers and pursue their dream.
Place
Dancing Sands is based in Golden Bay, New Zealand. They are located near to the famous Te Waikoropupu Springs, which are reputed to be the clearest ever recorded in the world and whose pristine nature inspires their gins.
