Vibrant and intense, with a beautifully perfumed aroma of crunchy pomegranate, mulberry and summer pudding. An inky palate with texture and verve framed by lip-smacking tannins. It tastes of maraschino cherries, blueberries and salted liquorice with precise ripeness and a near perfect balance of density and freshness.

" Transparent crimson. Heady, well-integrated, fully ripe nose with Tempranillo more obvious than the Malbec. Sweet and luscious with a little tobacco-leaf note and then a dry finish after a particularly vibrant palate. No trace of excess heat. Very sensitively made. With the same savoury finish as the Margaret River Cabernet from the same producer and vintage. There are quite noticeable fine, dry tannins. For the moment I would definitely suggest drinking this with food. Subtle and long. Very slightly dusty on the finish. Drink 2021-2026. "

" Attractive nose of florals and blackcurrants, with blueberry and plum aromas, too. The palate has a fine tannin texture. Medium body. Red plums and berries deliver a drinkable style that holds a fresh stance. Drink now. "
Winemaking
The grapes were hand harvested on the same day, individually berry sorted prior to carbonic maceration and natural co-fermentation in a single French oak vat. Maturation followed in the same French oak vat for 10 months.
