The golden Ribolla Gialla grapes produce juice that is rich in phenolic compounds, which needs treating with the utmost care to produce fine wine. Complex aromas on the nose - honey, truffle, caramel and savoury notes, and a suggestion of creamy coffee. The palate is lighter and fresher than the nose suggests, with lively, lemony, citric notes, and a persistent finish. The name “Maralba” is a dedication that Roberto Felluga wanted to make to his parents: Marco and Alba. “A recognition of the role my mother played in convincing my father Marco, over the years, to believe in and invest more and more in the Ribolla Gialla grape, which she always loved so much.”
