Process

There are two fundamental principles of blending according to James Chivas: ‘old, mature stocks and a distinct Speyside accent’. This is certainly the case with this whisky, with over 20 unique single malts, mainly from Speyside, blended together.

People

James & John Chivas created their first blend Royal Glen Dee, in the 1850s after demand from customers who sought a smooth whisky from an upscale store where James worked. Little did they know this was the foundation of future Chivas Regal creations.

Place

Chivas Regal is made by the riverside at the Strathisla Distillery in Speyside, Scotland.
