Casamigos Añejo Tequila has a complex aroma, (less bright and sweet on the nose than the their reposado), with soft caramel and vanilla notes. The agave and oaky spice from the casks make for a lovely sipping Tequila.
Process
Using their usual process to make the spirit - Casamigos Añejo Tequila is aged for around 14 months in American oak barrels, picking up it's amber hue and balance of Blue Webber agave and oak.
People
Casamigos was launched by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman who sought to make the perfect Tequila and Mezcal for them. Diageo snapped it up but Hollywood star Clooney remains an active part of the brand.

Produced at the Productos Finos de Agave Casamigos - 100% Blue Weber agaves (aged between 7-9 years old) are harvested from the rich red clay soil and cool climate of the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico.
