Casa Valduga
Casa Valduga, Founded in 1875 by Italian immigrants, blends tradition and technology, creativity and heritage, and is now a top name in Brazilian viticulture.
Casa Valduga is one of Brazil’s most renowned wine producers, known for blending tradition with innovation. The Valduga family arrived from Rovereto, northern Italy, in 1875 and established vineyards in what is now Vale dos Vinhedos. Today the third generation—brothers Erielso, Juarez and João Valduga—continues to lead the winery, supported by experienced winemakers who uphold the family’s long‑standing commitment to craftsmanship and quality.
Casa Valduga operates vineyards across several key regions in southern Brazil, including Vale dos Vinhedos, Serra do Sudeste and Campanha Gaúcha, each contributing distinctive terroir influences. The winery is especially celebrated for its traditional‑method sparkling wines, matured in the largest underground sparkling wine cellar in Latin America. Their approach combines heritage practices with modern techniques, with premium labels such as Brut 130 and Maria Valduga undergoing meticulous ageing regimes, including selective use of French oak for structured red wines.
