This is an unbelievably refreshing gin, one that evokes the image of British summertime right there in your glass. We’d opt for an Elderflower Tonic and lemon peel for a G&T, but we’d also be very tempted to try this in a Basil Smash.
Process
Each of the ingredients in Cambridge Dry Gin are distilled separately so as to prepare all of the flavours to their own perfection. The ingredients are vacuum distilled, cold and fresh, so the botanicals retain their raw flavours.
People
Cambridge Distillery was founded by William and Lucy Lowe. They are a pair of science minded distillers who sought to embrace the world of modern distilling – challenging the status quo by prepping fresh, vibrant gins.
Place
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Cambridge Distillery hails from the name-sake city but just as the ideas that echo around the university campus' - the gins that come from the team are more globally minded. Ant filled gin, anyone?
