Key Flavours
Serve
The blackberries explode out of the bottle, enveloping the tongue in a dazzling burst of fruit juice. It’s bright, loud and sunny, with delicate notes of almond dipping in and out of focus. Serve it up with a sprig of mint in a G&T.
Process
Brockmans Gin is made by the distillery team at Langley on their 100+ year old copper pot still – one of the oldest in the country. Blueberries, blackberries and Valencian orange peel are amongst the 11 botanicals.
People
Brockmans Gin is the brainchild of Neil Everitt, Bob Fowkes and a couple of other friends. The team have all come from the drinks industry, so had a good idea what they wanted to make – a gin smooth enough to drink neat over ice.
Place
Langley Distillery, based in the West Midlands, is a historic distillery producing well over 80 gins, many under contract. There are some truly exceptional spirits amongst their collection, made on some of the oldest working gin stills in the UK.
