A matured fine wine that sees no oak - the maturation is entirely in underground clay jars, and then in the bottle. The result is stunning: seamlessly silky in texture, with succulent black cherry and liquorice character, and complex balsamic notes alongside hints of allspice, Mediterranean wild thyme, rosemary and mint. Beautifully-balanced and pure, it lingers long on the palate and makes for delicious drinking now and over the next several years. Named after the Las Tinadas vineyard parcel, which was planted in 1956.

Winemaking
60+ year-old bush vines farmed organically on shallow rocky soil over limestone. Careful fruit selection, fermented in stainless steel vats, then transferred to ancestral 4,500L clay jars for 10 months' maturation. Aged for a further 36 months in bottle prior to release. No fining or filtration, so a natural sediment may develop over time.
