New fermentation technology and drying methods give balance and elegance to the wine's exuberant fruity notes - blackberry flavour, hints of mint, sweet cherry and spicy notes. Superb weight of fruit and a real purity come across in this dry style of Amarone, wonderful with food this is delcious Valpentena is the reason people should seek out Amarone.

Winemaking
Grapes are harvested by hand from wholly-owned vineyards on the hills of Valpantena cru of Valpolicella . The drying process is long and traditional to increase concentration of fruit flavour. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel vats at high controlled temperature to extract fruit and richness. The wine is aged for 2-3 years in small oak barrels to preserve fruit intensity.
Our Expert Food Recommendation
This is a "traditional Amarone for today" perfect for enjoying young or matching with modern cuisine. Excellent with duck.
