On the palate, it is juicy yet lean, long and focused, with fabulous, fresh, natural acidity, and blackberries and blueberries coming out to play on the finish. This sumptuous combination of Bordeaux varieties is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, with the balance made up of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The wine is aged for 22 months in approximately 60% new French oak barrels.

It was aged in French oak, 60% new, for 22 months. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes galloping out of the glass with energetic fruity scents of crushed black plums, mulberries, redcurrants and blackberries plus suggestions of camphor, cinnamon stick and chocolate box.
