Press Review
93/100 - A very ripe syrah with some baked blackberries, dried herbs and dark spices. Very full-bodied and loaded with silky tannins and juicy black and blue berries. A broad-shouldered red with lots of concentration. Drink or hold.
Press Review
92/100 - The 2020 Lot 8 Syrah is a bit shy and doesn't have the aromas the variety can develop in cooler years. It's only 13.5% alcohol (a little higher in this warm year) and has a medium to full-bodied palate with abundant, slightly dusty tannins and a dry finish. Drink 2023-2028

Syrah treat!
Big and fairly rich though it’s medium bodied. Speaking as a self confessed Syrah fan this was a real treat as all the usual components are on display but vividly in technicolor in this wine ! I found intense flavours of raspberry, black olive, hints of stone, real coastal freshness, beautiful tannins and a creaminess too. Very difficult to resist but luckily for all of us here to enjoy!
