Bright purple in colour with a bouquet of cherry and red plum fruit, accented by notes of earth, tobacco, spice box and smoke. Medium-bodied and fruit-forward. This Merlot has soft tannins, along with fruit-forward flavours of red berry, cherry and plum. Black tea, cocoa powder, plum and pomegranate notes linger on the finish.

Pleasant Surprise
I bought this as a gift for a Canadian in the UK. I bought a bottle for my side too as I wanted to make sure it was ok first! It’s just as described, and I’m enjoying it very much!

A wonderful surprise
I bought this in the Aug sale because it's always worth trying something new and what a great surprise it was. I won't replicate the GWCo review but it has all the qualities of a classy cabernet sauvignon than it it did merlot (not complaining at all mind). One to buy again but not at the regular price.
