Process
This edition is a marriage of a wide selection of their finest sherry butts, including oloroso, Palo Cortado, fino and Manzanilla sherry casks. These are carefully chosen, blended and designed to layer both complimentary and contrasting flavours.
People
Each Edition is an exceptional diversion from The Lakes Distillery's sherry-led signature style. They are intended as an expression of creative freedom that showcases the art of Whisky making and the creativity of their whiskymaker, Dhavall Gandhi.
Place
Located in Cumbria, The Lakes Distillery is housed within a 160-year old building (once a dairy farm) which stood derelict for over 20 years. Following an extensive and very impressive renovation, this beautiful site is open to visitors year-round.
