The nose shows pomegranate and liquorice, as well as strawberry and black cherry notes. The texture on the palate is more elegant than previous vintages and will broaden over time, but delicious and fruity right now. Lightness of touch on the finish, but still pure and enticing. Excellent.

Following destemming and a 21-day skin maceration, the organic Nero d'Avola grapes undergo controlled stainless steel fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation, and are finished with 14 months of maturation in second- and third-use Allier oak barriques.
