This gorgeous Arneis has intense notes of peach, acacia blossom and tropical fruit. In the mouth, it is fresh yet soft, with voluminous texture, hints of honey, yeast, cream and a salty mineral suggestion on the finish, characteristic of grapes grown on Roero's sandy soil. This wine comes specifically from the Serra Lupini area within Roero, and Lupini referes to the fossilised clams found there, which look like lupin flowers.

Winemaking
Grown without herbicides and hand-harvested, 80% of the fruit was cold-macerated at 6°C for 8-10 hours before fermentation started, to help express the gorgeous fruit character of the Arneis variety. After fermentation completed, the wine was matured in stainless steel tank on the yeast lees, with battonage for the first five months.
