In 1968, the Bogle family embarked on a journey by planting twenty acres of wine grapes on their family farm in Clarksburg, Northern California. This initial venture laid the foundation for what would become Bogle Family Vineyards, a winery with a legacy spanning over five decades. The Bogle family, deeply involved in the daily operations, is dedicated to producing wines of remarkable character and depth. The family's commitment to winemaking was pioneered by Warren and Chris Bogle, who initially planted Chenin Blanc and Petite Syrah. Today, the vineyard has expanded to over 800 hectares, with a diverse range of wines that include Chardonnay, Old Vine Zinfandel, Petite Syrah, Pinot Noir, and Viognier. The Bogle family's flagship wine, Phantom, is a premium red blend renowned for its rich, old vine fruit and extensive aging in American Oak.
