A single-site fine wine from a 0.46 hectare plot of centenarian Albillo and Temranillo vines, Milsetentayseis La Peña is a complex and unique rosé, with silky completeness of texture and great length. The vineyard is located at 948 metres elevation in Ribera del Duero's rugged highlands, the gnarled old vines eking out a living in low-nutrient sandy loam soil derived from weathered granite, and composed of feldspar, mica and quartz minerals.

Winemaking
The elaboration is marked by the utmost care and attention to detail. The grapes are picked into small, 12 Kg boxes to maintain pristine condintion, and the varieties are pressed gently and vinified individually in 600 litre French oak barrels, where they age on the lees for seven months, before bottling without fining or filtration.
