Process
Made from agave Espadin this is the first expression from Siete Misterios that is made in a copper still (rather than clay) while the milling for this mezcal is done by horse-drawn tahona, rather than by hand like the other Siete Misterios mezcals.
People
Siete Misterios was founded in 2010 by brothers Julio and Eduardo Mestre with the intent of keeping traditional mezcal production at the forefront of the mezcal industry.
Place
Each batch is made by a different mezcalero, so depending on the batch, it was either from Santiago Matatlan or San Luis del Rio. As the mezcaleros making their bottles change batch to batch, batches vary taste and in ABV.
