Process
Hand-crafted in pot stills and solera-aged in select American Bourbon barrels and Spanish Sherry casks for a minumum of 5 years, Kakira Gold Rum is charcoal filtered and bottled at 43% ABV.
People
Kakira started with a vision to decrease waste molasses from estate sugar cane into award-winning spirits. Kakira has grown substantially and supports a charitable fund local communities, environment and wildlife.
Place
Born on the Banks of Lake Victoria at the Source of the River Nile, Kakira Spirits was estabolished on the Kakira Sugar Estate and all Kakira products are produced from estate molasses.
