Jose Cuervo has been making Tequila for over 250 years. When in 1758, José Antonio de Cuervo y Valdés was given a writ of land ownership by King Fernand VI to plant agave on his lands for producing tequila.

Jose Cuervo Silver Especial Tequila is created in Mexico in one of the oldest known active distilleries in Latin America. It owns the largest holdings of agave in the world, nestled in rich, volcanic soil.
