Process
The essential oil used to infuse Ciroc is a fiendishly complex concoction. It's made from a William pear eau de vie. This is further infused with pears and has an extra essence obtained from concentrated juice resulting in an incredibly full flavour.
People
Created in the 1990's by Sidney E. Frank (an American businessman who became a billionaire through his spirits), who asked famed Maître de Chais François Thibault to create a vodka for him. It was sold to Bacardi in 2004.
Place
The wheat used in to make Grey Goose vodka is grown in Picardy, France. It is also distilled in the same region, North and East of Paris. The distillate is then sent to Cognac, France, where it is blended with local spring water and bottled.
