Grey Goose was created in the 1990's by Sidney E. Frank (an American businessman who became a billionaire through his spirits), who asked famed Maître de Chais François Thibault to create a vodka for him. It is now owned by Bacardi. in 2004.
Place
The wheat used in to make Grey Goose vodka is grown in Picardy, France. It is also distilled in the same region, North and East of Paris. The distillate is then sent to Cognac, France, where it is blended with local spring water and bottled.
