Clean and fresh lemon notes & a subtle fruitiness on the nose, while a lot more assertive citrus to taste. Very reminiscent of the fruit's zesty nature - a great flavoured vodka!
Process
The Menton lemons are cut and macerated, while the South American citrus oils are extracted under vacuum. Once combined they are blended with Ciroc Vodka to an exacting recipe.
People
Created in the 1990's by Sidney E. Frank (an American businessman who became a billionaire through his spirits), who asked famed Maître de Chais François Thibault to create a vodka for him. It was sold to Bacardi in 2004.
Place
The wheat used in to make Grey Goose vodka is grown in Picardy, France. It is also distilled in the same region, North and East of Paris. The distillate is then sent to Cognac, France, where it is blended with local spring water and bottled.
