The irresistibly plump red berry, cherry and spice aromas and flavours are backed up by subtle tannin structure from the Cabernet. Lip-smackingly delicious, perfectly-proportioned and complete, this is superb value for money. Domaine de Belle Mare excels at both traditional and new-style Languedoc wines from its 45 hectare vine-growing estate, which borders the crystal waters of Bassin de Thau. This important area for oyster farming extends more than 20km between Balaruc and Marseillan, passing through Mèze and Sète, and is the largest and deepest of Languedoc's coastal lagoons. The vineyard enjoys a Mediterranean climate with prominent northerly winds, helping to maintain vine health and enables perfect ripening.

Harvested early in the morning to preserve the fruit. Total destemming and selection of the berries before vatting. Controlled fermentation at 25°C for about 20 days. Grape varieties vinified separately and blended before bottling
