From the moment the sommelier pours a perfectly-chilled glass of vintage Blanc de Blancs Champagne, you know this will be a meal you’ll remember, long after summer has passed: The perfectly-balanced acidity of a Grand Cru Alsatian Riesling, powerful vanilla and honey of a rich Sonoma Chardonnay, followed by superb rose-petal Nebbiolo and peppery Shiraz, and completed by classically-unctuous 6-Puttonyos Tokaji desert wine.
